AMERICAN AIRLINES RETURNS TO BONAIRE
Getting to Bonaire just got easier this summer with American Airlines new non-stop flight to Bonaire. Starting Saturday, June 9, 2018, the new service will operate weekly with departing flights scheduled to leave Miami International Airport (MIA) at 12:05pm, arriving in Bonaire International Airport (BON) at 3:13pm. The return flight will depart BON 4:00pm, arriving in MIA 7:15pm. American airlines will utilize an Airbus 319 aircraft with capacity of 128 seats.
HOTELS TAKE IT UP A NOTCH
Bruce Bowker’s Carib Inn continues to make improvements while keeping true to its original ideals of a more intimate resort. The resort expanded its dive shop and has all new rental regulators and BCDs. They also installed a new dock ladder with a platform to make guests’ entry and exit from the Caribbean Sea easier. Carib Inn has also added the option of a reserved boat, where divers can choose their dive master, departure time and dive sites they’d like to dive. Sand Dollar Condominiums ushered in the New Year with several upgrades to the property and product. All the bathrooms in the rental condominiums have been remodeled with the combination bathtub-shower units replaced with new, spacious walk-in showers.
