Candice Adams Kimmel, Owner and President
Candice Adams Kimmel founded Adams Unlimited in 1985, with the vision of developing a premiere New York City based agency specializing in Travel and Hospitality by providing personalized service to a select group of clients. Prior to starting the company, Mrs. Kimmel was senior vice-president marketing of Warner Leisure, Inc. a subsidiary of Warner Communications (now Time Warner). Having begun her career in the marketing department of Pan American Airways, Inc., Mrs. Kimmel offers clients a keen understanding of the airline business and its key function in destination marketing and the promotion of hotels, resorts and attractions worldwide.
Mrs. Kimmel is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW), the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA), and The Wings Club. An avid figure skater, Mrs. Kimmel belongs to the Skating Club of New York (SCNY).
Marie C. Rosa, Vice President
Ms. Rosa, Vice President of Adams Unlimited, joined the agency in 1986. Her extensive background in sales and merchandising has positioned her as an expert in supervising the on-site implementation of all direct marketing projects, special events and promotions. During her tenure at Adams Unlimited, she developed two main areas of responsibility; agency management and account services. Ms. Rosa serves as senior-level counsel on all agency issues, manages agency finances and profitability and oversees the day-to-day operation of the agency. On the client-side, Ms. Rosa provides creative input and direction, including development of story placement, conceptualization of press materials and press trip coordination. Ms. Rosa maintains established media relationships which have resulted in generating feature story coverage in major national and key target markets. Throughout her twenty year history in the travel industry, Ms. Rosa has also developed extensive contacts in both the domestic and international travel areas and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She is also a PADI certified scuba diver.
Cathy A. Preece, Vice President & Account Supervisor
With nearly 15 years of experience in public relations, Ms. Preece has worked with many destinations and top brand names in travel as well as boutique clients in the luxury and consumer product industries. Her extensive list of story placements ranges from The New York Post and Elite Traveler to NBC’s Today Show and CNN and encompasses both print and broadcast outlets in target markets on local, national and international levels. She provides senior level counsel and strategic advice for agency clients, and oversees the agency’s account team management while continuing to perform various day-to-day account functions including the development of written materials, press visit coordination and social media management. Over the course of her career, Ms. Preece has developed a reputation for excellence in the industry and cultivated strong relationships with the media. Her efforts have earned her multiple awards and industry recognition for outstanding work in travel and tourism public relations. She is a member of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and the Publicity Club of New York (PCNY). Ms. Preece also performs on a semi-professional level with a local dance theatre company.
Stephanie Worth, Senior Account Executive
Having joined the Adams Unlimited team in May 2007, Stephanie’s innovative ideas and more than 5 years’ experience in the travel/hospitality public relations field have made her a valuable asset to the agency. As the lead executive for multiple key agency accounts, Stephanie’s primary responsibilities include handling all aspects of day-to-day media relations, social media account management and reporting for clients. Among her many accomplishments, Stephanie has built the social media presence for two of her clients, having created their Facebook and Twitter pages and executed strategies for their growth. She plays a vital role in securing major national and international press, with media placements ranging from Travel + Leisure and Men’s Journal to KTTV-Fox Good Day LA and the Peter Greenberg Worldwide Radio Show. Stephanie was formerly part of the staff of Weber Shandwick Worldwide, where she worked with top travel industry brands including The InterContinental Hotels Group, Singapore Airlines and the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau. She is an advanced open water PADI certified scuba diver and all-around athlete.
