Basseterre, St. Kitts – As part of its ongoing activities to increase visitor arrivals from the key northeast market, the St. Kitts Tourism Authority held two events in New Jersey this past Monday, April 23, to educate travel agents, tour operators and MICE planners about the destination’s travel product as part of the Destination St. Kitts & Nevis US Roadshow 2018. Both events attracted over 35 attendees, all of whom were top-producing travel professionals representing some of the most respected organizations in the business.
In addition to a video showcase of St. Kitts & Nevis, atttendees enjoyed lively conversation with representatives from St. Kitts, played games, listened to presentations and won a variety of prizes from hotel stays to island tours that were all donated by participating local island tourism stakeholders. As a result, many of the travel professionals are now adding St. Kitts & Nevis as a featured destination they will sell to their clients.
